Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
about Colon Cleansing sessions
Q: Are Colon Cleansing sessions embarrassing?
A: No, your session is totally private and discreet. You will insert your own flexible plastic nozzle, and the
clinician does not see you unclothed. You'll maintain your personal dignity. You will be covered with a large,
paper, hospital-grade sheet. Every effort is made for you to be comfortable and at ease.
Your emotions will be acknowledged and honored. Feel free to talk to your clinician about any feelings or
experiences you might have. People come to our office every day for this procedure, and we are here to serve
you. We honestly care about you, and this is a labor of love for us.
Q: Will I be running to the restroom all day after my Colon Cleansing session?
A: No, the session will cleanse you, but it is unlikely that you will be "bathroom bound" for the rest of the
day. You will probably go a few more times after the session, but that is normal. Remember that BMs are a good
thing. Make time to go to the restroom, especially after meals.
Q: Is the sessions painful?
A: Colon cleansing tends to be a relaxing experience. Occasionally, you may experience some
resistance and tension-- but this is temporary, and part of the cleansing process. Your clinician will put you at
ease and minimize your discomfort. Most people enjoy the light, clean and clear feeling that they get from the
session.
Q: Why should I be concerned about my colon?
A: The colon has been referred to as the sewer system of the body. It is the place where we store the waste
material that most of us would rather not think about. Colon cleansing releases the accumulated congestion and
fecal matter in the bowel.
Q: If I'm not sick, will I still benefit from a colon cleanse?
A: Almost everyone will benefit from colon cleansing. Even if you feel healthy, you'll benefit from this procedure.
Athletes use colon therapy to improve metabolic efficiency. Many receive the treatments during a period of
lifestyle change or as a preventive measure.
Do you suffer from intestinal distress? Telltale signs are constipation (possibly from
prescription drugs), carb indigestion, diarrhea, gas, bloat, hemorrhoids, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, diverticulosis,
colitis, parasites, skin conditions such as psoriasis, shingles, and eczema, inability to lose weight, and scar
tissue and adhesions from surgery.
Do you want to lose weight? Many people lose or maintain weight loss with regular Colon
Cleansing.
Are you suffering from pain? Abdominal pain, continuous headaches and migraines, back or shoulder
pain, aching joints, gout. Some customers are immune-compromised with lupus, MS, rheumatoid arthritis, arthritis,
cancer, chronic fatigue, Candida, infections, colds or influenza.
Q: Is Colon Cleansing ever used in a hospital?
A: Yes! Many doctors are using Colon Cleansing for pre and post-surgery, barium x-ray and colonoscopy. Some
clients do a session during a fast, as part of a cleansing program, a raw food diet, a liver
and/or gallbladder flush, or recovering from an accident. Some clients are working on emotional issues which they
feel are physiologically rooted in their intestines.
Q: How many Colon Cleansing sessions does a person need?
A: Generally from 3 to 12 sessions are recommended, depending on the client's needs. Every person's goals will
differ. Just as some people exercise on a daily or weekly basis to tone and tighten their outer body, many people
follow an ongoing cleansing, toning and rebuilding regimen for the inner body. It is up to you as to how many
sessions you obtain.
